New Born Sizing...?

Anyone just had their babies and can tell me what weight they were and what size sleepsuits they are wearing as iv had 2 previous and both were 2 didn't weights when they were born plua it was along time ago so I haven't got a clue! Thanks

DD was 8 lbs 3 and was in newborn for a couple of weeks then upto 1 month for another couple after that.

It's length not weight as a PP said - mine 2nd was under 7lb but really long so newborn sizes did not fit. I took a set of newborn and 0-3 clothes in with me both times. Both came home in the latter. Also bear in mind that French brands deliberately come up small as they want mums to think their babies are doing well by needing the bigger sizes.

My wee girl was 8lb 4oz born at 39+6.
I packed both newborn and 0-1 month size clothes in my hospital bag because my first was 6lb 13oz when born and I'd only packed clothes that were too big! and she went straight into 0-1 month.

The 8lb 6oz went straight to 0-1 month I mean.
Had to rush out for newborn stuff for the first!
