What’s everyone’s experiences with Tommee tippee gro egg?
mine keeps shining blue even with heating on I’m worried that it’s going to be to cold for baby…

I’ve just bought some sleep bags and a heater but since yesterday temperature has been 13.4🙁

There’s guides like this one from Emma’s Diary that shows how to dress your baby based on temperature. www.emmasdiary.co.uk/baby/baby-sleep/baby-sleeping-bags

with sleeping bags though there is a minimum weight limit so it depends on how big your baby is when they are born. They might be too small at first.

i agree with PP, the GroEgg is a guide but really it is better to use your instincts. Your friend shouldn’t have scared you with SIDs stuff. The Lullaby Trust has lots of advice on dressing babies and it’s actually more dangerous for them to overheat.

if your spare bedroom is warmer could you actually sleep in there with your baby while it’s cold?

Here’s the Lullaby Trust advice. Hopefully reassuring https//www.lullabytrust.org.uk/safer-sleep-advice/safer-sleep-winter/

I hated the gro egg and definitely won't be using it this time. It was 30°C the week we brought my daughter home and the red angry face stressed me out so much! I just have a normal thermometer now and will just dress the baby appropriately.

I loved my Groegg, I found it really helpful, I still have it in my 3.5 year olds room.
