Aspirin in pregnancy

Good Morning ☀️

Currently pregnant with twins, due May. Have been advised to take aspirin to ensure babies are getting what they need and reduce pre-eclampsia etc...

The midwife didn't seem too bothered about me taking it but advised it all the same so unsure whether to introduce it to my body.

Are any of my other twin mummies taking aspirin daily?

@twinmumtobe23

I'm not a twin mum to be but I am 27 weeks pregnant with an ivf miracle. I'm on aspirin a consultant advises it as I'm small in status and therefore the baby worth struggle with space to grow and it can get compact on there.
Aspirin thins your blood to make sure the baby or babies in your case are having a healthy streaky flow. I've been on it since 16 weeks and will remain on it until 36 weeks x

'Baby' aspirin seems to be prescribed for higher risk pregnancies so I'd take it if you've been advised to.
