It says dip for 5 sec.
nothing happend. Liquid didnt fill window so i dipped back for another few sec Until I saw the liquid enter the window
Should I have only dipped it 5 sec and left it ? Even though it didn't look like liquid was entering the window ?
I feel like an idiot
. I've had issue with all tests doing that so I wonder if im doing them wrong.
Ive taken 5 tests, clearblue first response all are positive now im wondering have i soaked the strip in too much urine that maybe they are all false ? Id be devastated. Would that happen if they absorb too much urine ?

false positives are incredibly rare. If 5 are staying you are positive then likely you are pregnant. There’s only a tiny amount of Hgc in no -pregnant women’s urine, is no mater how long you dip it’s unlikely to be positive unless you are pregnant. Congratulations! If you feel the need then test again using First Response or the clear Blue digital plus weeks, use under intone stream (they are the most reliable to me).

I will try one of the digital in a few days. What's put this into my head is because I now keep reading about evaps and stuff , I'm not sure how to distinguish an evap ect from a real faint positive

It does take a moment for the liquid to start traveling across the window. That looks definitely positive to me. I don't think the amount of liquid affects that.

Evaps often don't have colour.

Tests measure HCG levels, if there is no HCG they will not show positive no matter how long you hold them in urine so don't worry about that, if you have 5 positive pregnancy tests you are pregnant, you don't need to keep testing, congratulations 🙂 if you really want you could get the clear blue that tells you In words if your pregnant for peace of mind

I’ve had what you described before the first time I ever tested, I left the test and the wee didn’t travel to the window so dipped again and it worked and was positive. I panicked too but I did a digital and it was positive so I don’t think you can dip for too long! I always hold mine in until I see the wee hit the window now xx

I double dipped a test and it was positive. Like you I assumed it had falsified the result but the 5 after that were all positive too.
Looks like your pregnant! Congratulations 🥳 x
