Covid/high temp during early pregnancy

Hi all,

I recently found out I am pregnant and at the same time tested positive for Covid. I am just looking for reassurance I suppose from people who may have been in a similar situation.

At 4 weeks three days I developed symptoms - dry cough, hot ears and a high temperature. Over the course of the day my temperature ranged from 38.1 to 38.4 (Ear temp). Eventually got it down that night with paracetamol.

My worry now is the effects of the high temperature on my developing baby. Has anyone been in a similar situation and gone on to have healthy pregnancies?

I'm currently 32+3 and I had covid & a raging temp at 7 weeks. Baby is doing well and growing nicely - my midwife isn't concerned at all.

Hi. I'm around 12 weeks (didn't have my dating scan yet) and recently had covid. Take paracetamol to manage the temperature, it's the only thing you can do (obviously if it gets worse you have to see the doctor). I also had 38-38.5, was taking paracetamol, now I'm OK. 36.6, still bit tired, sneezy, cough etc., but no more hight temp.
