Swollen and painful pubic area ?

I’m very swollen around where I shave if that makes sense, at the front. And really sore on one side, the kind of pain that feels hot and throbbing. I can’t see any reason for it, I thought maybe a nasty ingrown hair but can’t see anything however it does feel really swollen on jusg the one side. It’s sore to touch and has made me feel awful all day. Has anyone else experienced this ? Just wondering if I should be contacting anyone but it’s not my actual vagina that’s swollen so I’m unsure if it’s some kind of infection?

im also not quite yet in my 3rd trimester if that makes a difference

Varicose vein? Can be found in that area later on in pregnancy.

Have you recently shaved?

I shave regularly but I was due to shave today- it’s just so sore still. Looking at the front of me I can see I’m visibly swollen on one side
