How to relieve a sore throat?

Hi all,

wondering if anyone knows what I can take to relieve a sore throat, I’m 13 weeks pregnant and have this virus that’s going round so with the coughing and sickness (thanks to hypremesis) my throat is so sore.

I can’t stand Manuka honey so that’s out and I’ve been drinking hot water and normal honey but still sore.

Are there any sprays / sore throat lozenges I can take? I will pop to a pharmacy this afternoon and ask but if any one has tried anything or been recommended anything that would be great.

Thanks & HNY x

Technically you can use Difflam spray- just had a quick Google on forums- though the advice is not to. Your pharmacist will be your best bet. They may not recommend Difflam but if you can speak to a Dr (I know it's the weekend/ bank hol) they can prescribe it.
