Hi!
I’ve had a BFP on an FRER this morning at about 10dpo. We weren’t trying but are in a good position to have a baby, we’re 25, own a house and we’ve been together 9 years. What do I need to/ not need to be doing at this stage to help get through these first couple off weeks? E.g do I need to start taking any vitamins? stop eating anything etc? I’m vegetarian too so wondering if I need any extra supplements?
I’d really appreciate any advice, thank you 😊

Check in with your GP asap and they will take you through all the next steps! My GP was amazing and put me on a higher dose of folic acid immediately.
Congratulations and I wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy 💛x

Congratulations!

The only things you need to be careful of are what the NHS state you shouldn’t be eating and watching your caffeine intake. There’s not a lot you can’t eat.

Ring your GP to register yourself with the midwife and they should make you a booking in appointment. You usually get your first scan from that.

Take a supplement of vitamin D (10mcg rings a bell but double check!) and folic acid at a minimum.

Emma's Diary website is a great resource as well!
