Feeling fed up now

Just a moan!

Currently coming into 35 weeks pregnant and everything hurts. I feel so utterly exhausted all of the time and I feel like my body is falling apart! Zero energy or desire to do anything.

Back to work on Tuesday for two more weeks and seriously cannot be bothered.

As much as I feel so fed up with being pregnant, I don't want baby to come early!

Anyone else in the same boat?

I’m 31 weeks, felt very very tired until a week ago. Started taking Floradix (iron and multivitamins) along my regular Pregnacare max, and it has made a huge difference.

My iron was ok at 28 weeks, but I guess it can be better. Maybe it will help?

@Sassy144 how are you getting on? Any sign of baby or are you going ahead with the induction tomorrow?! Can't wait to hear!

Forgot about this thread but wondering if anyone here has finally welcomed their little ones into the world? 🥰

37 weeks and no baby. I had to go to hospital last week as I had a lot of contractions (definitely more than 20 a day) and a scan yesterday (as I have gestational diabetes) and both concluded that my cervix is still pretty tight and baby is not engaged so I still have weeks left. I'm still very tired but being off works helps.
Good luck to all of you in the finishing line!

Joining in, 36ish weeks here. Supposed to work til 39 but seriously reconsidering that now. Woke up for a wee at 2am and didn't get back to sleep til 5am, and then gloriously woken for the day at 6 by my four year old.
Naturally, I despise all my childfree colleagues right now

FebMama · 19/01/2023 10:07

@Liveafr ooh when is your due date? I'm 37 weeks exactly today. 😊 I'm getting lots of BH contractions at the moment (at least that's what I think it is!). Good luck to you too 🙌🏽

@Thetractorjustmoved hats off to you if you work until 39 weeks. I finished work yesterday and already woke up this morning feeling such a mental sense of relief. But I empathise with the sleep situation. Two nights this week I've woken up for a wee at 4am and not been able to go back to sleep so ended up waking up at stupid o'clock to start the day!

I'm at the stage of every little twinge is making think it's happening! Someone please remind me/reassure me... Will it be really obvious?!

This is second labour and I'm panicking my parents won't get to me in time to look after my DD when it happens (they live an hour away)

FebMama · 20/01/2023 17:46

@thattravelphotographer how many weeks are you? I feel the same! I was awoken at 4am this morning with very strong cramps and had a moment where I was like "is this it?!" - it wasn't 😂

I was induced with my first so I actually don't know what it's like to go into labour spontaneously 😭

I'm 38+2 now. But I just feel like my body can't hold the weight of this baby in for much longer!! And terrified my parents aren't going to get to me in time 😩 it's so stressful!

FebMama · 20/01/2023 18:50

@thattravelphotographer I feel the exact same and I'm 37+1, the pressure is unbearable at the minute!

Fingers crossed your parents do get to you on time!

Well our baby boy is finally here after induction at nearly 42 weeks - it was a traumatic birth that you don't need to hear about but we are doing well and he makes it all worth it ❤️

FebMama · 22/01/2023 13:47

@Sassy144 huge congratulations! Sorry to hear it was a traumatic birth but hope you are loving the newborn snuggles so far ❤️

Hope you’re all doing okay with the waiting!

Had sweep today at 40+3 - 1cm and she was able to do a sweep. Had it at 8.30 this morning and still getting blood when I wipe now (TMI sorry!) but nothing else. Baby is really head down in the pelvis but the waiting continues 😂

Congratulations Sassy!

FebMama · 25/01/2023 20:52

@halloumi1 how exciting! Hope it's the start of something for you 😍
Are you getting any other feelings?

halloumi1 · 25/01/2023 21:39

@FebMama Thank you 😊- have you had your date or anything yet?
Nothing apart from awful lightening type feelings but in the back of my hips/lower back and very occasional mild cramps. Not holding much hope!

FebMama · 25/01/2023 22:16

@halloumi1 that sounds really promising! Keeping my fingers crossed for you 😄

I'm still waiting on a date 😩 although have my pre-op on Friday afternoon so I'm hoping it means I'll be in some day next week - let's wait and see!

halloumi1 · 27/01/2023 11:53

@FebMama Hoping your pre-op goes well today! Hopefully it won’t be that much longer now if they’ve got all the other side of things organised today.

I’m still having brown spotting, cramps and the pelvic/back pain is nearly unbearable now but she’s hanging on in there 😂. Must be comfy!
I’m booked for an induction on Sunday, they’re going to ring me tomorrow with a time. Just fed up of all the pain now and people constantly messaging asking if there’s updates and then saying how concerned they are because it’s past due date and they haven’t heard from me.
It’s a good job it’s worth it and our babies will soon be here 😊

FebMama · 27/01/2023 17:03

@halloumi1 thank you! It went really well, and I finally have a date yay! Next Friday providing baby stays put 🤞🏽

By the sounds of your symptoms you may not need an induction on Sunday! Either way good luck, and please keep us posted on here 😊

Christ today has been hard... Trying to manage a 4 year old on a wet January weekend when heavily pregnant is absolutely no fun at all. Felt serious rage today. Tell me I'm not the only one on my knees
