Pain after sex third trimester

Does anyone know if it’s normal to experience pain after sex during the third trimester? Sex itself isn’t painful but can be a little uncomfortable, but afterwards I’m so sore. It feels almost like when you’re on your period and get a strong aching feeling but much more intense, it can also hurt a bit when I pee afterwards and the whole vaginal area just feels really sore and achy.

I work in a hospital so I’ve been able to check my urine and haven’t got any infections or anything. I’m just wondering is this normal?

I've sworn off sex since earlier in my pregnancy, but I still masturbate once a week or so. I can feel a bit achy after orgasm. I'm not a medic but I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I used to get very mild contractions after sex in the 3rd trimester and I would be swollen down there for 24 hours after, pretty sure I read its something to do with the hormones and extra blood your carrying that causes this, the extra weight from the baby can move things around down there so your urethra opening is probably getting a bit friction during sex
