Scan yesterday, bleeding and cramping 6 weeks

Has anyone had similar?

Had a scan yesterday & saw baby's heartbeat (tiny as I'm only 6 weeks). Had some light spotting before then, told them at private scan. They told me no blood around baby & everything as it's expected to be at this stage.

Last night bleeding got more and I had terrible stomach cramps.

Can't get an emergency scan until Thursday.

Has anyone had bleeding and terrible cramps after seeing a heartbeat and everything been fine?

I think things at this stage can really go either way but lots of positive thoughts for you

I experienced bleeding after my 7 week scan I think it was. Pure panic and thought I was experiencing another miscarriage. It lasted about a day but felt the longest day ever and did calm stop.
My daughter will be 1 in a couple of weeks :)

I then also bled after another scan a couple of weeks later. Very strange as this one was over the belly and not internal but for some reason those two made me bleed

Lady I spoke to today also said get plenty of rest, make alternative arrangements for dc to get to school etc. does that mean bed rest?

I imagine it's just as little as you possibly can do. I'm unsure if it means bed rest though sorry

Try push to be seen soon. I know sometimes there are things that can be done if it's a threatened miscarriage
