Having a second baby after rainbow baby?

Hey 😊

Any stories out there of having miscarriages and getting your rainbow and conceiving successfully again?

I had 5 MCs and then rainbow 5 months ago... wondering whether to dare try again or count my blessings.

(I did have surgery on my womb and they found a blood clotting disorder... but you never know)

Xxx

I had five losses before having my first baby. I then got pregnant again just after his first birthday with no losses in between and am now 37 weeks.

I had DD1 whilst on the pill. Massive surprise. Assumed it'd be easy to have DD2 but had 7 miscarriages over 2 years and basically decided enough was enough and we'd stick with just DD. Literally the last month of trying, we got pregnant with DD2 and I couldn't believe our luck. DH had a vasectomy soon after she was born because we didn't ever want to have to go through a miscarriage again and, by that point, we'd basically assumed we'd be more likely to miscarry a pregnancy than carry it to term. Lo and behold a positive test for the DTs arrived 6 months later!

If this rollercoaster of getting pregnant has taught me anything at all it's that sometimes there is just no predicting what on Earth is going to happen when TTC!

Best of luck OP!!
