Ultrasound 8weeks 2days

Hey mamas just wondering if anyone has had an ultrasound done yet I'm 9 weeks and 3 days now and I had a scan at 8 weeks and 2 days I've shown my family and my close friends and they said surely I could be a lot further along because how big baby is, just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone before and how's yous are doing Xx

Usually the scan image or the sonographer will say what the estimated fetal age is - what did they say? Makes no sense for your friends /relatives to say the baby is big as how would they know that?!

That's what I thought she said baby was growing fine don't think she really mentioned much, but my friend he was like his sisters baby was not that big at 8 weeks but what's it matter baby is healthy

Haha your friend is a silly sausage - the images look different from different angles and also they zoom it in and out! Maybe Google 8 week ultrasound just to see if your pics look any different? At 8 weeks they are baby shaped with a heartbeat but have stumpy limbs

Haha I thought that yeah I've checked to different images tbh mine is quite big but I said I'm not fussed aslong as the baby is healthy he was like and I quote 'my sisters 8 weeks was like a little speck near enough'. At the end of the day if baby is fine I'm not bothered
