What gestation did you have your second/further babies?

Hi all!

Just curious really... I am currently pregnant with baby no.3 and I have had a feeling the whole way through he is going to arrive early. I've been getting multiple braxton hicks, cervical pains, lower back pains, been excessively hormonal and losing small parts of my mucus plug the last few days. I'm 35 weeks at the moment, and keep thinking he will deffo arrive this month although he isn't due until mid Jan.

What have been your experiences with subsequent pregnancies.... has baby arrived on time, late, early?! Did you have a feeling or no clue that they would arrive when they did? I know this means nothing as every baby is different, I just like to hear of peoples experiences! Tell me yours!

First 39 weeks second 39+1, I thought i was going to have second early as I was sure I was further along than I was but nope, had no indicator I was going into labour either, was literally googling early labour signs with my second when my eaters suddenly broke lol

Waters I meant not eaters lol

First at 30 weeks (that was quite a scare!)
Second at 37 weeks
Third at 38 weeks

My son arrived at 35 weeks (my 2nd).

First at 41 weeks
Second at 39 weeks, but my dad had just had a heart attack and I was stressed up to the eyeballs, so that may have been a factor.

Dc1 was 36 weeks
Dc2 was 38+weeks
Dc3 was 39+ weeks and an induction
Dc4 was 38+weeks and an induction
I think if Dc3 hadn’t been evicted she would have stayed in,. 😁

I’m also 35 weeks and due mid Jan - my first was born at 41+2 but like you really can’t imagine going as far as mid Jan this time!

Nothing medically to support that just a feeling 😃

1st - 40+2
2nd - 38+2

Dc1 - 40+10
Dc2 - 40+9
Dc3 - 40+13 - induction

Currently expecting Dc4 so will be interesting to see when he/she comes

DC3 - 39+4

Really took me by surprise - I was convinced he'd be late too!

DS 34. Had no idea he would be early, my waters just went and bam he was here later that day!

I had exactly the same symptoms as you from 34 weeks with DC2, had none of them with DC1 who was born 40+1. DC2 came at 35+3.

First was evicted at 38 weeks. Second eventually got himself going at 42 weeks

1st at 41 weeks, 2nd at 40+10. Longest ten days ever.

First 41 weeks. Second 38

First 41+1
Second 40

3 days over
2 days over
1 day over

3 babies all born 37 weeks

39+5. Elective c-section.
