This is a bit of a daft one so I'm here fishing for other people's experiences to just calm me down over the next week.
This is my third pregnancy. My first pregnancy ended at 28 weeks due to a severe unknown genetic condition (explained lack of movement which I never felt) my second pregnancy was a success and I started feeling pops at around 14 weeks then movement in the 20s as I had an anterior placenta. I'm now on baby three with a posterior placenta and have felt nothing yet. Saw baby at 8 weeks and 13 weeks all fine, moving around and I felt nothing but I'm wondering when I should potentially feel movement? I've totally forgotten the early days and only really remember the big thuds.
Because the potential genetic condition we carry is based on movement I'm driving myself insane but would it be too early to tell now? No point seeing a midwife as I'm being scanned by fetal medicine in a week so they'll just say hang on until then. But for this next week I feel I'm going to drive myself a bit mad. Would 15 weeks usually be too early to tell? With a third baby? No point seeing anyone to hear the heartbeat as my first child had a strong heartbeat throughout but she was still really unwell.
Plus I have a nearly two year old which is rather distracting to focus on it 24/7 like I used to. And I've hardly any bump so just generally driving myself insane.
When did you start feeling confirmed baby movement with subsequent pregnancies?
