Try not to worry too much OP- easier said than done. Everyone is different and pregnancy symptoms can start at different times for everyone. With my first I had symptoms at 5 weeks on the dot, with my 2nd and current pregnancy I didn't have symptoms until 8 weeks. I have friends who had no symptoms other than missed period until 3rd trimester where they just felt more physically tired and had the usual aches from carrying a big bump. It's a difficult stage of pregnancy with lots of worry but try and keep busy to keep your mind off the worries and get a private early scan booked in for next week at 6 weeks which is when they can see what is happening which will hopefully put your mind at rest.

More often that not you won’t have any symptoms that early on, I certainly didn’t. Nausea usually starts around 8-12 weeks, but not everyone gets it anyway. Taking a pregnancy test won’t change anything because you’ll have pregnancy hormones being detected, regardless i do understand I drove myself mad both times constantly reading and looking into things. The symptoms will start before you know it.
I will add I have a 6 year old now and my 2nd pregnancy I was much more relaxed.

My symptoms didn’t really hit until I was 6 weeks pregnant. And some women just don’t get any at all. I know how hard it is not to worry, though. Just take each day as it comes and think about getting an early scan in a couple of weeks’ time if you can afford it and are still feeling anxious.

My symptoms didn't come until week 6/7 and all was fine!

You'll be fine op, try and relax and enjoy not feeling sick!

thanks everyone . I took a test and this is the result: it's the first pic. i’m not happy with it at all :( , my second pic is a frer one i took on tuesday which is clearly quite darker . The one i took today is a suresign test. i’m panicking so much! i

I took a clearblue digital also and it said 2-3 weeks which i think is okay? i’m 5 weeks according to my last period but technically i conceived 2 weeks + 5 days ago , even so should this not say 3+ , i hate this panicky feeling so much

I’m the same had 2-3 on clear blue a week ago I haven’t tested on a clear blue since I seen levels need to be good and high for a 3+ have you had your levels checked?

They're different brands so you can't compare them. I was getting dye stealers on a FRER whilst still having really faint lines on a cheapie test like your ones. Doesn't mean anything, the test is positive.

As for the symptoms, 5 weeks is super early and they tend to arrive around 6/7 weeks.

I was worried about lack of symptoms at 6 weeks and totally wish I hadn't as I've been throwing up all day every day since 7 weeks (although I never vomited when PG with my daughter so everyone is different)

If you're actually crying with worry over not having symptoms I wonder if it would be best to try and get some help for your anxiety as pregnancy hormones are only going to make it worse!

I've just been started on Sertraline and Propranalol at 10 weeks for my anxiety

I haven't got my levels checked no, i know it's all in my head as i do have health anxiety anyways! and i actually am already prescribed propranolol but i stopped taking it once i became pregnant , i didn't know i could still take it? I just took a FRER test & it's 5pm so it's not my morning pee, this looks pretty good what do yous think? i feel better after taking this test i THINK? i need to calm down and relax i’m sending myself MAD 🤣

It’s so hard to step away from the tests but your lines are solid so your definitely pregnant as hard as it is waiting on a scan is the only thing you can do. The first couple of weeks is by far the most scariest and anything can happen but it’s out of your hands .

Propranolol is safe to continue taking during pregnancy. I take it for migraines and have continued taking it daily throughout my pregnancy (currently 32w)

Hi @girlshelpxx congratulations!

As someone who struggles with anxiety I understand. I'm 6 wks tomorrow according to my app and I've spent far too much of the last 2 weeks staring at pregnancy test lines - I'm seeing them in my sleep now! I had a very early loss previously so I definitely find it hard to relax.

I think this stage is so hard because after the excitement of seeing the positve test you're a bit on your own till first appointment at 10 weeks. And boy does that feel like an eternity right now!

Can you speak to your GP about the anxiety? Maybe they can recommend something that is safe in pregnancy or at least suggest some tips? Just talking to someone with medical expertise might help give you some reassurance?

Anyway, sending you lots of positive vibes! 💛
