IVF trigger shot or positive test

I was so convinced and maybe still am that this IVF round didn't work. My official test date is in 2 days but today I am 16 days post trigger shot and I'm testing positive. I have been taking loads of tests anyway and they have been very very faint positive in the last few days, due to the trigger shot that apparently can linger for a while, but last night and this morning these tests look slightly darker. Any thoughts? Can it still be trigger shot after 16 days??😫

@hopefullsosbry are you also bleeding? Apparently bleeding is very common with ivf pregnancies so it's hard to tell!

No , I have a line that’s not getting darker, we have had 3 chemicals before and two missed miscarriage, the was out 5 th and last blast that we transferred , I was just hoping for some success stories where a faint line may get darker again, 🤷🏼‍♀️ my test day is Friday , but the line is so faint it will be a low beta if I get to Friday. I do have symptoms though on and off since 4dp5dt that’s why I tested early ..slight sore boob, mild cramps . I fear the cramps are turning more period like today though.. this is a pic of my lines since 5 days past transfer..

@hopefullsosbry sorry you have gone through so much already. I had 2 rounds of IVF ( one chemical, one unsuccessful transfer, waiting for FET next) and each time was soul crushing. Have you taken any more tests? What's the line looking like now?

Hi, thanks for the reply .. had my beta blood taken this morning , and had a urine test to take that the clinic gave me, urine test says negative, still have a very faint line on 1st response, the clinic test detects levels of 20 HCG or more and I think 1st response is about 7 hcg so I guess I have about levels of 7 hcg in me at lest ..

I have not had any bleeding , with or any previous miscarries .. I do have a prescription for progesterone that the NHS the current miscarriage gave me to take of the test is positive from today .. the fertility clinics didn’t advise I need progesterone , now I don’t know wether to take the progesterone ‘just incase’ it may save it, I know it can’t stop a miscarriage , it will just stop bleeding, but do I take it in the hope this wee dot will continue to develop or is it doomed anyways so shall I just let nature take it’s course? I don’t know what to do.

Also this is a 6 day blast so I don’t know is it just a late developer ?
