I am taking a seven-day course of erythromycin after developing a bad chest infection, but it is right when my morning sickness started kicking in (6+5 today). I was getting sick about once a day before taking the medicine and now am feeling intense nausea pretty much constantly and have already thrown up three times in the morning. I have barely finished two days of the medicine and struggling to keep anything down.
I've tried taking medicine with food, eating little and often, etc. I'm not sure what else to do and I have few medicine options as I'm allergic to penicillin and amoxycillin. Will of course call GP when the practice opens today but wondering if anyone has been in a similar boat and if it gets better after a few days or if there are any other things I could try to manage the nausea and vomiting.
