Could I fall pregnant or unlikely?

We had sex on CD8, I don't think I have ovulated (egg white discharge not appeared). It's been 4 days since we had sex:

16/11: Periods starts
23/11: Sex
27/11(today): No sign of ovulation yet

Has anyone fallen pregnant when they had sex 5 days before ovulation? I have 26-28 day cycle. My Flo app tells me I'll ovulate tomorrow.

P.S. happily married with two little boys. If I was pregnant, not the end of the world but not planned. We've chatted about baby number 3 but with the others, we actively had sex to conceive if that makes sense, so surprise baby.

We had a drink and didn't think about anything else but us as it was hubby's birthday which never happens 🙈

You can fall pregnant at any time of the month, only way to be sure is a test.

@TiptoeThroughTheToadstools I use natural cycles so know that I cannot after I've ovulated if that makes sense, just not sure if sperm can live inside my vagina for 5 days or longer. Different source say different things, some say 48-72h, others say up to 5 days.

This is exactly how I fell pregnant in September 😂
Sex on CD8 and now we have a baby on the way (all being well, I am 10+4).
We were shocked to say the least…

@gemloving I used Natural Cycles also and would highly recommend it’s only used if you are trying to get pregnant not as a contraceptive lol

There is no such thing as a surprise baby when you are not using any other contraception than NFP.

@LadyMarmaladeAtkins my planned babies were made differently though. Ovulation sticks, measuring my temp, telling my husband, we now have sex to make a baby 🤣

Just cause you didn't have ewcm doesn't mean you didn't ovulate 😊 every month can be different with symptoms. Sending you baby dust ✨️✨️x
