Pain in groin/leg

Has anyone ever had this before?

I’m 32 weeks - have been struggling with usual aches and pain making me feel like the worst parent ever to toddler DS (!) as I struggle to get on the floor to play with him.
Hasn’t got any better as DH works quite a few late nights and every other weekend late nights so I’m still doing a lot of bedtimes/lifting of DS/trying to run around after him and I started with a dull pain on one side when walking recently.

Today I was sat on the floor with DS and when I’ve got up, I’ve developed this awful sharp pain on one side of my groin, going down my leg, pain every time I take a step. I can barely walk and look like something off a horror film dragging my leg!

Tried to explain to DH but it coincides with a day he wants to go out drinking with his friends so he’s done the stomp about the house, did a loud bellow of annoyance at one point at feeling he couldn’t go out and ‘do something for him’ which scared my poor DS and he’s gone out anyway so no chance of a rest today as I don’t have anyone else to help.

Is this type of pain normal and will anything help make it feel better? Or am I just going to have to woman up (it really is painful)?
Baby has been head down for quite a while now and I never had any of this with DS.

I wonder if it good be pelvic girdle pain!? I had the same with my DS and honestly couldn’t even step forward sometimes as it hurt so much. Gentle stretches can help although I didn’t get that much relief if I’m 100% honest but worth a chat with your midwife. As for your DH, he’s got A LOT of making up to do!! Hope you’re okay, see if you can put a film on with your DS and relax on the sofa x

Thank you - I’ve just had a quick look and it sounds fairly similar and doesn’t sound very fun! Trying to get down the stairs was not pleasant.
DH is more concerned that this is now a belated stag party (we got married in January!!) and they’ve got silly T-shirts with his face on so he can’t not go apparently.
That sounds lovely - I will see if mr into everything will allow some quiet time ha x
