Nausea is getting to me. Backache is a pain and I'm only 6 weeks. Having to wake up to pee at night is a pain. Looking at my 22 months toddler breaks my heart thinking I should have given her more time before getting pregnant.

I'm grateful I'm not bedridden like I was last time due to HG (had to have a termination). But oh my gosh pregnancy even without HG is hard 😭

Neck pain / migraines. Was one a week, now increasing and brings the sickness back with it. Annoying as I’m enjoying having more energy this trimester but can’t do anything with it feeling this rubbish so often.

Charl881 · 17/11/2022 22:01

Also hang in there @heartbroken22 - my mum guilt has eased a lot in the second trimester. For some reason I now feel more at ease at telling him mummy can’t play because I need to rest / am feeling ill and have gone from feeling guilty about rocking his world to being super excited to give him a sibling which makes everything a lot easier to deal with.

Nausea! I just feel like shit it’s so draining. I’m so grateful to be pregnant but bloody hell it’s hard work already 😂

4+1 and barely anything. Slight nausea, some tiredness and that's about it. I think those that have strong symptoms wish they didn't, and those of us who have barely any symptoms, wish they had stronger symptoms 😫 can't win 🤣

LER2023 · 30/11/2022 22:51

6+1, still getting used to the fact I have a child growing inside of me.

my pet peeves about this pregnancy being absolutely exhausted all day that you need a 20 minute nap (sometimes I’ve slept for 3 hours in the day) but having that 20 minutes snooze in the afternoon is keeping me awake at night. Even if I don’t have a snooze I’m still awake at night.

the pains that are maybe stretching pains? Growing pains? Idk.

how hungry I am constantly. I’ve gone from eating 1 meal a day to having breakfast, snack,
dinner, snack, tea, snack, snack, snack then collapse and sleep.

last thing and it’s mainly the OH that gets me.
the super sensitive nipples. He sits and rubs on them, it’s grating on all my senses and then I have to sit with sore nipples for the rest of the day🤨

please don’t tell me, that it’s just me😭🤣

@Charl881 how far along are you? I had migraines last pregnancy and have a headache when I'm nauseous. It's horrible. I sometimes use the kids fever patches (blue ones) u get on Amazon they're cooling and help x

@Charl881 aww yeah I get you. My one year is watching tv shows with babies as the focus and she smiles when seeing them. Hope she's okay once baby comes x

@MendaciousMabel totally get you! Nausea and vomiting can drain eveything you. Sometimes u can target it with food, medicine other times you just have to wait it/rest it out.

@rach971 haha yeah I'm like that when the symptoms go I panic thinking baby isn't there but when they come back I'm like crap I don't wanna feel like this.

@LER2023 I'm 8 weeks and yeah I'm having insomnia when I'm normally someone who'd happily sleep all day if allowed too 😂

The stretching pains are awful too especially the rib pain. I honestly can feel my ribs have moved to make room.

Nipples in pregnancy could do with their own guards tbh. My kids brush past my chest and I'm like a man whose been kicked in the nuts 😂

Pregnant with 2nd (DD: 3.5)- 37 weeks now and hating it. Have Gestational diabetes this time (didn’t last) so feel like I can’t eat anything at all - feel drained.

toddler keeps coming into room at night so not getting any sleep - even when I can actually fall asleep on my side

doing drop off and pick up which is exhausting

and just feel heavier, older, more tired this time. Want time to speed up
