Linea Nigra- anyone else not got one? Just curious

The brown line that pg women often get from belly button to pube line (I think its where the muscles are separating under the skin?) hasn't appeared on me in either this pregnancy or the last one. Not bothered but just wondered whether I am a freak of nature

This is my 4th pregnancy and I've never had one.

My sister is extremely pale-skinned with black hair (ie. au naturel goth) and she did get one. But she's the only person I know of.

I think it's to do with your own skin colour. Mine didn't appear with ds til quite late though but lasted ages after he was born. 25 weeks and no line with dc2 yet

I had one - I've got brown hair and skin that isn't dark but tans easily. It lasted for ages, I was quite sad when it finally faded away.
