just found out i’m about 6 weeks pregnant. This will be my third, i have a 2 year old and an 8 year old. This pregnancy is totally unexpected and out of the blue and i’m really shocked. To be honest I don’t know how to feel about it. I was never 100% for/against having another, ive always been on the fence
my biggest concern is my first child was born by emcs and the pain after was horrendous. My second was an elective c section and was so much better, i recovered much quicker, lost minimal blood. I think if i decide to go through with it, it will have to be another c section and I don’t think i can handle another c section. Im also very overweight so already have a overhang and im petrified another c section might kill me as the first two went so well. Ive been told by consultants this would definitely have to be my last because of a thin uterine lining.
my partner really wants me to keep the baby but i am just so worried for my health and my life to carry another and birth another. I fee terrible that im not jumping for joy.
has anyone here (overweight would be better to get a better idea but appreciate advice drom anyone) had multiple (3+) c sections and been ok? Recovery? As i will have a 9 year old and 2.5 by the time this one is born. I will air my concerne at my booking in appt but by then i feel like it would be too late to do anything if i didnt want to continue.
