I went to OOH Saturday morning due to pain in tummy and discomfort when peeing, they dipped my wee sample and said it showed blood (not visible to me) and said it was cystitis so gave me 7 days of antibiotics. I'm due to finish them on Friday but am still getting regular pain and the pain right after peeing has returned (went for a few days). Do I need to contact my GP or midwife? Or should I wait till Friday when I actually finish the medication? I don't know if it's usual for UTI pain to remain for a few days after or if it should clear up? I'm 21 weeks pregnant tomorrow and feeling baby move if that makes any difference.

Finish the antibiotics, drink plenty of fluids. Get back in touch with the GO on Friday as might need to have results sent to the lab.

Finish the antiobiotics
Drink plenty
Limit alcohol and salty food
Cranberry supplements
Cystitis powders to neutralise your wee
