No real rhyme or reason to this post except I just wanted to say after 9 months of reading mumsnet continuously, asking advice, airing worries and doing more research on babies than anything else in my life! tomorrow is THE day! Tomorrow I’m going to be a mum! I’m so scared and so nervous and happy and excited and it feels so real yet not real at all! Keep bursting into tears for absolutely no reason! My poor partner doesn’t know what way is up with me today! Rainbow baby, I can not WAIT to meet you!

Good luck! Take each step little by little. You’ve got this!!

I was terrified before my c-section but went with the flow and I look back quite fondly of all of it!

Congratulations xxx

This is so exciting! I bet you won't sleep tonight! Are you doing anything special this evening? Nice bath or special dinner? I had my baby 13 weeks ago and if I could go back and do it all again I would - enjoy every moment!

Aww so excited for you! Hope it goes amazingly well - I feel emotional just thinking about my son being placed on me for the first time 🥰

Ah amazing, best of luck. I had an elective section too and it was just so lovely. Not long now!!

Oh best of luck for tomorrow! Enjoy every moment with your bundle of love!

I had my son 6 years ago vaginally but I’m due to deliver my 2nd baby next week by elective c-section and I’m terrified, but knowing what the outcome is outweighs the nerves by a million percent!

Please let us know how you get on x

Awwww amazing!! Good luck Smile

I had an emergency c section last year and my recovery was pretty quick, no problems walking/picking baby up the same day and no issues breastfeeding either. The op itself was so quick I couldn't believe it!

I know you'll probably have read a lot of peoples stories of having a hard time after a c section so just wanted to share a positive one SmileFlowers
