Hi, im 16 weeks and I strongly suspect my 18 month old has hand foot and mouth. His rash began yesterday or the day before and he was unwell for a day or two before that so I guess I've been exposed for a good few days. Feeling fine though. Anyone have positive stories where they've got it and the baby has been ok? We all had a cold the week before so im a little anxious about the new baby. Feeling no movement yet

I got h, f & m when I was about 10 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I felt awful, but the baby was fine and is now 6 and perfect!

@Sawa75 hey I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant, my DD had it last week so bad that we thought it was chicken pox, doc confirmed hand foot and mouth, said it is everywhere! My husband then caught it and then me, doc said no risk at all to pregnancy only thing to be careful of is a fever in pregnancy, if you do get it it's likely to be very very mild so don't worry too much! Xxxx

My husband did feel very poorly with it but I was okay with it x

Thanks so much for your replies, that's very reassuring😊. Second pregnancy with a toddler has so many new obstacles 🙈

@Sawa75 so much different to first time isn't it! My DD is 18 months and I'm 8 weeks, feeling absolutely awful! Was so much easier when o just slept all day!
