Edwards/Patau Syndrome High Risk

Hi guys,

I am 26 and this is my first pregnancy after a miscarriage and after my 12 scan this week my screening test has come back with a 1:95 chance of my baby having Edwards/Patau syndrome.

I’m being reassured from the hospital that the scan is all looking ok with no markers and a NT of 1.70mm.

I have opted to have the NIPT to begin with and currently in a 10 day wait for the results.

Has anyone else had a similar experience as this?

I don’t know what to do with myself, i keep crying and very anxious.

I am going through this right now, I'm 27 4th pregnancy after 3MMc
High risk of DS 1 in 93
And high risk of Edwards and Patau 1in 28 , I also have low Papp-A 0.11, my NT was 1.6.
I had my NIPT yesterday and now I've got the dreadful wait for the results, I've read so many mixed stories of people having good results with similar results to mine and also bad.

I honestly feel for you, 1in95 is very much in your favour they class anything lower that 1in150 as high risk so your literally just below it, also you have your age in favour.
