Can't find Bebe Confort High Trek in UK!

Have been thinking of buying a Bebe Confort High Trek, it looks like a perfect compromise for all the things I want. Only thing is it doesn't seem to exist over here! Loola and some others are all I can find. Weeks ago checked out London stockists and Daisy and Tom on Kings Road was one, was going to call them today (live in Sweden so would get it when over) but turns out they've closed down today (such a pity, such a magical shop, have walked past it loads and was looking forward to taking a future child in there ). John Lewis is meant to stock them but can't see the High Trek on their website and the Bebe Confort website is now refusing to go to the English stockists page. Are they no longer selling in the UK? Does anyone know what's going on?! Have had to abandon my Mountain Buggy dream as doesn't fit into stupid flat's lift, don't want to lose my back up option too! On the other hand, a little trip to Paris... .

Hi Cityangel,
Thanks so much for the number and links, really kind of you. Have emailed Babyworld and it seems they don't stock the High Trek any longer and that BC in the UK has stopped distributing it. Will try and hunt down another nearby country! Thanks again!

Anywhere near Wrexham?

My sister has that buggy and she loves it. Will ask her where she got hers. It is a nightmare buying Bebe Confort in this country as I fould when buying my Twin Club (which I love by the way!) and had to order it from Ireland.

Thanks Cityangel!

Hi Dragonhart! Oh you make it worse saying your sister loves that pram! Have been looking at it on the web every day ever since seeing in on a train station platform in Switzerland this December!
Unfortunately not near Wrexham (living in Sweden but visit UK regularly), though thank you for link. Would actually go there to get my paws on it but seems Bebe Confort UK aren't selling that pram at all now (just the Loola). Soooo irritating.
Please do ask your sister though, just in case there's somewhere that has a few left. Glad you like your Twin Club! Would order from Ireland too (or Norway which is nearer and supposedly has them though website now jamming up and not showing stockists so maybe stopped there too) but really wanted to actually check it out first to see about folding, stability etc (though am presuming from your sister's reaction that's all pretty good).
Oh well the quest continues... thanks so much for your help! x

She bought hers here

She didnt try it out and it was a risk but she loves it as I said. She said that it is really easy to manoeuver round shops, they have a dog and do plenty of off road 'driving' and it is has very good suspension, folds down quite small (she can fit it in her old Punto with the shelf taken off), handle height is adjustable and goes quite high if you are tall (we are both 6ft so great for us).

If you order online I am sure you have a 28 day cooling off period where you can say it is not how you thought it would be and then send it back. You would have to pay to send it back but in all honesty I dont think you would. You vould email them and ask. In my experience their buggies are ace and very good quality. Our twin still looks pretty much brandnew (when not muddy!) despite the abuse it has got from a very heavy ds1!

I found the Dorel UK very unhelpful when trying to get hold of my twin. Refused to even talk to me about it as it was not sold here.

Har - sorry you're having problems getting your Bebe confort, I've just looked at some Austrian/German sites but no use. Nice to see you around though - where have you been hiding?

Har · 30/01/2008 12:46

Thanks so much for the website Dragonhart, SO exciting ! It sounds like a good idea to order it (though will email first as you say to check) and then see. Sure I will love it! Handle is great, tried Bugaboo and it was much too low for my husband. And I love that it is good for off road and shops, usually you have to choose. Yay!

Hi Deb! Hope you're very well and baby blooming beautifully! Thanks very much for checking out sites near you.
I know I'm being crappy and hiding! Find it so hard to keep up with the ante-natal thread, once I start I feel I have to keep up with everything or I'm a bad thread friend, it feels bad to just pop in say something and then not show up for a while. So just don't pop in at all! I do check in every day though to check how everybody is. Loved your bump!!! (Even with the clashing wallpaper ). Am still waiting for mine to properly arrive, it is there but am having to shove my tummy out (= painful back) for maximum effect. Gets big with bloating by the evening, luckily DH just sees it then (he leaves home before I'm up) so doesn't realise it's bloating and is v impressed! x

I'm aware this is an old thread but in case anyone is searching for one, I am selling a Bebe Confort High Trek in red! We bought it in France when we lived there but it has hardly been used as we shortly after had a second child and had to go to a double pushchair! So DO get in touch if you're interested. I also have a compatible red Loola Windoo/nacelle which is the pram bit so baby can lie completely flat, as well as a Bebe Confort Loola frame and seat also in red. All with rain covers. Any combination available. Please reply if interested and I can send you photos.

Dear Batterache,
Please could you let me know if you are still selling your Bebe Confort High Trek pushchair and pram top? If so please could you send me a few pictures and let me know if it is possible to view it?
Many Thanks

Sam
