I’m currently 5 weeks & 5 days pregnant. My boobs have been sore since conception. I’ve just had to tell my 9 year old off for something & I got really stressed I had to go in the bathroom & calm down & I’ve noticed my boobs aren’t sore now(they were sore before the argument) & I’m worried the stress has caused a miscarriage is this likely? It’s took me a year & half after a past miscarriage to conceive & I'm really worried.

They are sore again thank goodness I never thought I’d say that lol. I think people were right with the adrenaline suppressing the pain. I wish I was more rational under stress but yous have kept me calm & sane the last few hours so I appreciate it I felt really horrible earlier x

My partner is the same and always says 'don't google it!' Well off to google I bloody well go then sit there anxious. We're our own worst enemies sometimes aren't we!

Mine were never sore the whole time, many times a day or for days the symptoms went away completely.

second time around they weren’t sore at all.

Apart from the sore booms now and then, I didn’t have any other symptoms this early in any of my pregnancies.

I got the stomach acidity and morning sickness weeks later.

so I don’t think there is any correlation between symptoms and pregnancy

I know it’s hard not to worry, but raising your cortisol through anxiety might impact more

pamper yourself and every time the thoughts come to your head, do something else, distract yourself. Not easy I know but books, tv shows, nice walks etc do help.

myslef I assumed everything was fine, if I didn’t have a good reason to think otherwise. No symptoms is no reason at all to think the pregnancy is not going well

I told my partner I wanted to ask the midwife if I can have my herbal tea as I’ve read some ingredients you can’t have mine is camomile & roasted chicory root I told him I tried Googling it & he went mental & told me to stay off my phone I know there’s certain thing you can’t have as I’ve been pregnant before didn’t see a problem Googling that and thank you I’ll do that my boobs aren’t really sore today again so I’m worrying again but trying to stay calm anxiety is exhausting x

You really need to deal with your anxiety, and find some reliable evidence based information about what’s safe and unsafe in pregnancy.

It’s been ongoing through my whole life I’m currently speaking to a psychologist & always in touch with the doctors etc the doctor sent me a link of what foods to avoid i’m just being careful so I have the healthiest pregnancy possible I’m really doing all I can x

Not trying to be a dick but dyou think you’re anxious and second guess yourself because your partner ‘goes mental’ if you, a whole intelligent adult, choose to Google something on your own phone? I might be way off the mark, but sometimes the dynamic where a partner feels they can tell you what you’re allowed/not allowed to do can cause anxiety because it erodes your trust in yourself.

I’ve had anxiety since childhood I’ve always been this way it’s just frustrating he’s insensitive & has no sympathy or compassion x
