Hi everyone. I tested positive on Sunday and started bleeding on Wednesday so did a test and it was negative (Took the test at about 6pm on the Wednesday) so not first pee of the day. Bleeding started off really light pink then got more like a period. Bleeding stopped on Friday afternoon and hasn't come back since. Wondering has anyone else had this and ended up still being pregnant.

I have had two chemical pregnancies and I got pregnant the next cycle both times - apparently your hormones are at optimal levels afterwards x

I’ve had two experiences of bright red blood in my pregnancies. The first was after about a week if spotting brown, at which point I wasn’t concerned as test lines were darkening. Eventually though, the brown turned to pink and that turned to red. I was just shy if 5 weeks when I list the pregnancy.

Exactly four weeks later, I tested positive for a new pregnancy. Two days later I had bright red spotting, but this time it came out of nowhere. I wasn’t even 4 weeks. That spotting didn’t last long and went from red, to pink, to brown before completely cleaning. I had an early scan a couple of weeks later and saw baby with a heartbeat. 💗🥰 Fast forward a couple weeks later and I had more spotting - light red, pinky-brown this time. I’m waiting to be scanned next week but hoping baby is still growing strong.

From what you’ve described though, this sounds more like a pregnancy loss. 💔I’m really sorry as it is so heartbreaking 💔 Hopefully you will conceive again quickly when you’re ready to TTC and you’ll have a more positive outcome! 🌈

That sounds promising. I didn't know that hormone levels are better after. Hopefully it will b better for me next time 🙂

Thank you. I do think myself it's a loss. I'm waiting for a few more days to try another test (which I'm sure will be negative) so glad it all worked out for you in the end and best of luck in your next scan ☺️☺️

@WL2 Thank you. 💜 It’s been a roller coaster so far and these past few months have been full of ups and downs. I really hope this baby is a sticky one as I’m not sure how I’d cope with another loss!

Good luck with your test! It sounds strange but getting a negative felt like closure for me. I hate to admit that as I’d spent so long hoping to see two lines and suddenly hoped I didn’t. But all through my m/c bleeding I was still testing positive which seemed like cruel joke as I knew the baby had passed, so finally getting a negative signalled the start of a new journey.

Just remember to be kind to yourself through this. Again, I’m sorry for you loss 💔

@B1993 I get what u mean. It would be cruel all the positive tests when u know it's not right. Praying 🙏 that everything goes well for u and thank u so much for your kind words 😊
