Stomach ache - 18 weeks pregnant

Hello,

I’m 18+5 weeks pregnant and for the last day or so have had what feels like a constant dull stomach ache in the middle/lower stomach.

I also had a stitch like feeling for around 30 mins in my left side yesterday which I put down to lots of walking (currently on a city break).

Do these two things sound normal to you?

Thanks so much.

You may have overdone it a bit if you're being very active? Does it settle with pain relief? Or once you've rested? Is your pregnancy high risk anyway? Any concerning loss from the vagina? Have you started to feel movements yet?

I guess I’m walking a lot more than normal! I haven’t taken pain relief as I wanted to monitor how it felt- I guess that suggests it’s mild. Have been told my pregnancy isn’t high risk and haven’t had any bleeding. Haven’t started to feel movement yet no. Thanks

Sounds like a combination of trapped wind and round ligament pain

I had really really awful stomach pain during random times of my pregnancy. I didn't even realise but it turned out to be trapped wind/indigestion. Just one Rennie tablet does the trick every time. That might help!

Thanks- that’s what I was hoping :-)

Thank you! I’ve bought some Rennies so will see if they do the trick! Thanks so much.
