Watery/Pink blood 15 weeks

Hi all, I have had pink/watery/brown blood in my discharge these last three days, we did have intercourse three days ago, but any other time it has never been as much as this time.

It is quite a lot when wiping, and a little gets onto my panty liner every now and then, it’s always brown if it reaches my panty liner.

After my scan this morning, I felt some relief, a lovely heartbeat was heard, but just now I have had yet another heavy amount on the tissue after wiling (with a little red, very small amount), heartbeat was heard and placenta didn’t show any reasons to be tested, but I can’t help but stay on top of this high mountain of anxiety.

Does anyone have any similar experiences and reasons as to what could be causes this constant watery blood mixed in my discharge?

I had very little pink blood, half a teaspoon or less, from thrush inflammation and a pessary.

what did they say at the antenatal clinic? If you haven’t gone, call 111, if in uk, and they will tell you what you need to do. I wouldn’t wait.

if you have rh- blood you need to tell them too.

@CristinaNov182 I rang again and the Midwife at the hospital
was so lovely, as hard as it is to have no real answer as to why this is happening, her advice is for me to keep resting and keep monitoring things over the next 24hrs - which is easier said than done.

She explained because the Sister was happy at my scan yesterday with the heartbeat, and the placenta looked good, she doesn’t want to scan again because that isn’t good either, and plus no bleeding sights were found, and because I have no pain, cramps, clots or urine issues and I’m not soaking through pads - she’s content. So for now, I just have to be patient, rest and trust my baby will be ok.

I’m resting today, well until my little two year old gets home later, and intend to ring again tomorrow morning. I just want to know why, so I can have peace of mind but that’s not an option at the moment.

It sounds like it is all good. Plenty of women have some unexplained bleeds and no issues with the pregnancy or the babies so don’t worry.

everytime I spent a day on my feet during my first trimester I had cramps the whole day, and when I rested they went away so I think rest is a very good idea.

take care of yourself and wish you an easy pregnancy ahead

@CristinaNov182 thank you ❤️ And thank you for messaging. Pregnancy is a rollercoaster of emotions, so much is out of our control but I’m trying to remain calm and hopeful! Thank you again and I wish you exactly the same xx
