Ive just been to see the nurse at my GP's to have my pregnancy confirmed but she has now managed to convince me that im actually not pregnant which has rather upset me and now i dont no what to do.

I did 2 clear blue tests on friday which both came up positive in about 5 mins
which i thought meant i was pregnant etc...

But the nurse has now filled me full of doubt saying i may have bought it up positive because i still have hcg in my body from my D & C in nov ( just over 2 months ago )

But i cant see how she can be right because 4 weeks after my D & C i bought 2 clear blue and 2 first response and tested all with the first urine of the day and all 4 were negative, i then had a negative blood test and then on the 5th week after the op got my period.

So i cant seem to understand why i bought up every possible test negative and now 3 weeks after my preiod im bringing up tests as positive why she still thinks i have hcg in my system??

Im so confused and i hope someone can help because i thought nurses were there to make you feel better and not like shit!!

Hey Lulu - still going for Ormskirk. Saw a lovely doc there after 20-week scan. Don't know his name, he was Kenyan or Ghanain I think. Lovely fella! The midwife had told me the week before that if one of my babies was breech (which it is at the mo) then I would have to have a ceasarean. I thought as long as the first one was head down then I could go for natural delivery if I wanted. The doc said the midwife was talking "rubbish!" and said only if both were breech would they recommend a C section. So I am happy with everything at Ormskirk at the mo.

One of the twins is a boy ("Theo") but they couldn't tell what the other one was (surely a girl then?). Next scan mar 6.

Are there any Southport meet-ups soon? I start maternity on April 7 (or before if I need to be signed off sick) and will need entertaining before the babies arrive!
