Pelvic pain at 19 weeks?

I’ve started experiencing pelvic pain over the past few days - I’m 19 weeks tomorrow. I’ve suffered from hip pain (side of my hips) and lower back pain since quite early in my pregnancy but didn’t think anything of it. Is this likely to be PGP? I’ll speak to my midwife this week however wondered if anyone has any advice/tips prior to this? Thanks

Hi op, could be it happens for some earlier than others. It started for me at about 5 months and I had pain in the joint between groin and thigh that flares up with walking driving and rolling over in bed as well as numbness and burning in my legs. I would say if you think that's what it is contact a physio ASAP as they will be able to give you hands on work and exercises to strengthen certain muscles. I went to the NHS physio and they told me to avoid lots of things and offered me crutches. I went private and they did a lot more deep tissue work and gave me exercises to do. Things I found helpful was engaging my glutes when going up and down stairs, keeping my knees together when moving like getting into a car or turning in bed, put a plastic bag on your car seat so you can sit in and spin round knees together and invest in a good long pregnancy pillow and make sure your knees and ankles are supported well. Best thing to do is try and keep on top of it, I found reducing my driving had the biggest impact.
