So I’m 38 weeks tomorrow and just feel AWFUL
horrendous sickness is back - to be fair it’s been back weeks but really intensified this week like the early days
horrendous acid
headaches ( bp been checked and all normal )
horrendous lightening crotch and pelvic pain whenever I walk( not dilated )
feeling weak sick hot and dizzy at times and just feeling genuinely awful . Was never this bad with my first pregnancy .
just feel so fed up of feeling this I’ll - anyone else ????0?

Yesss me too! It sucks right? I’m almost 37 weeks and having a lot of this. Bad heartburn in the middle of the night, headaches but thankfully bp and everything is completely fine, pelvic pain when I walk, I can’t sit in any position as baby is breech and his head is right underneath my ribs, and sleeplessness at night. Not long to go now though!

@dreamerkr thank god it’s not just me ! I just feel awful and I have exact issues with ribs it’s SO painful !!! I almost feel like every day things feel a bit harder ?!

Yep, same here. I felt great at this point with my first baby and didn't really understand what all the fuss of being heavily pregnant was about. What an idiot.

Lkakpk · 17/10/2022 20:02

@addler sorry you feel same ! What are your symptoms and bod many weeks are you ?

I'll be 39 weeks on Thursday, but already 40 weeks by my period dates so feel like I've been pregnant forever.

Heartburn, feeling like I've got morning sickness again, period like pains off and on for the last two weeks and so much pressure and pain in my pelvis I don't know how the baby hasn't just fallen out yet. And I'm so so tired, I've been napping every day and sometimes twice at the weekend Blush just had enough now!

I'm just fed up and over it now!

Borgonzola · 17/10/2022 20:23

this was me 14 weeks ago, you'll be absolutely amazed at how different you feel very quickly afterwards (unless you've had a c section or something). I can only speak for my own experience but I was back to whipping round the house that evening! I was 38 or so weeks pregnant during the first heatwave and the end was unbearable. I just didn't leave the house.

As always, check with your midwife if you think something really is wrong.

Lkakpk · 17/10/2022 20:41

@addler this is exactly how I feel . Bone tired . Type of tired you get before coming down with something and SO nauseous . I have a planned section next week which is eight days off and I could cry thinking of another eight days of this

@Borgonzola I almost didn’t expect the last few weeks to be so hard !

@Lkakpk I felt like this with all of mine. It does seem to go! My mum used to swear it was a sign of labour and the sickness was your body clearing itself out before labour started. I've always been induced so I have no idea if it's true. I'm 29 weeks now and my sickness is still going. Really hoping it goes away before 38 weeks can't imagine adding that on top 😞.

Lkakpk · 17/10/2022 21:35

@PaisleyP I’m getting a planned section next week so I’ll be 39 weeks . I was a bit worried to be honest but it seems more common than I thought ! What symptoms do you normally get late on ? Awful isn’t it !

@Lkakpk Ooh good luck! For me it's always been crazy restless legs bloody hate that part, lightning crotch but extremely painful, feeling hot all the time and before each one I've always had to go to the toilet a few times a day reversing 8 months of constipation 🤦🏽‍♀️. Writing all this down I'm not sure who would choose to go through this numerous times, if we didn't get such a lovely gift at the end of it!

addler · 17/10/2022 22:54

That's exciting, having a set date, even if it's not close enough!

I'm just worried I'm not going to go in to labour naturally again like I did with my first, and have to choose between induction and a c section. I really want a VBAC this time.

At least the bloody leg cramps seem to have eased off a bit finally Hmm
