HCG levels and bleeding, any chance?

Hi Ladies,
I had implantation bleeding on the 1st and started testing a couple days later and got faint lines on early tests and 'Pregnant' on early digital tests. I had an internal scan at 4+2 and they couldn't see anything and said I must have had an early miscarriage. I was still getting positive results on tests and then had bleeding and right sided pain yesterday at 5+1. I was sent to hospital and had another internal scan and they couldn't find anything but they took blood and phoned this morning to say my HCG was low at 37 and that I need another blood test tomorrow to see if the number is going up or down. I am still having a bit of bleeding but only when I wipe and it's light, not like a period at all. Has anyone had similar and had the baby survive? Many thanks.

I'm sorry @Worriedabouthcg - I would say that HCG that low at 5 weeks is unlikely to be viable and would prepare for this to be an early miscarriage. Hope that doesn't sound harsh - I just don't want to give any false hope x

So basically my period was due on the 6th of October. Ttc so tested that day and seen a very very faint line. Then tested the next day another faint line. Decided to do a clear blue digital which came up 1-2 weeks pregnant that was on the Thursday. So that was okay the weekend passed and on tuesday I have started to spot some brown discharge it was there every time I wiped but not enough to stain my knickers or cover a panty liner. Phone epu and they booked me in for a scan for next week on Wednesday but said keep an eye on it if it gets worse to call them again. The brown spotting continued for 3 days and this morning I woke up and it turned to red/ pink bleeding to where I had to wear a pad. Phoned again got bloods done and internal scan....going from the last day of my period I think I'm 5w and 3 days. Epu rung me to say my hcg is 44.2iul getting bloods again on Sunday to see if they're dropping or increasing. On the internal scan she couldn't see a sac so possibly a miscarriage. Let me know how you get on tomorrow it's really not a nice thing to go through sending you all the love

@Karola211 I'll let you know what my results are. My bleeding has increased a little but then they also said I had a hemorrhagic cyst, so the hopefully part of me thinks that could be what's bleeding but another part thinks I'm deluding myself. The waiting is the worst, I hate not knowing. Thank you for your kindness. Sending you love and very positive thoughts.

@Karola211 they took my blood today but said I'd have to wait until Monday for the results, which isn't what was said when I first spoke to them. The waiting is awful and every time the bleeding gets lighter I get more hopefully and when it gets heavier I get less hopefully, I am a mess. Praying for a miracle at this point, knowing there is nothing I can do to make a difference to what the outcome will be is such a terrible feeling. How are you doing today?

@Worriedabouthcg got the bloods redone yesterday and got result of 33hcg so confirmed miscarriage. They said it was a chemical pregnancy. I'm still bleeding since Friday but not as much today. Hoping bleeding stops in the next couple of days so we can start trying again

It took forever to get my results, had to chase for them but my HCG is now only 20 so I'm definitely having a miscarriage. The bleeding and pain is quite bad but they think it's because of the cyst. I'm so sorry you have had bad news too. I really want the bleeding to stop. Good luck for your next cycle.
