Afternoon all 😊

I am 4dp3dt so I know implantation if it happens will do so today or tomorrow.

I know the odds are hugely against me, I’m old, it was a day 3 transfer, it’s only our first time.

But I would love to hear some lovely success stories of IVF that worked despite no implantation pains, feelings or scratching or burrowing etc! I feel so utterly normal today, even my boobs haven’t been sore for the past 48 hours…

thank you! 🄰

Hi, iam 8 days past 5 dt. Initially for 4 dpt i had sore boobs ,crambing etc .. after that it got disappeared. Is there any one who has the same experience and got positive .. or is it a failed cycle

I had none of the symptoms you describe (and i think these symptoms are rare to spot), and the only thing I had is abdominal swelling/water retention because of the slightly overstimulated ovaries, but was probably not related

I realise this is an old post but I’d scoured the internet last week to find this answer: Can you have symptoms and get a BFP one transfer and then not have any symptoms and still get a BFP on another transfer! Yes! My first transfer I had text book symptoms in the first 5 days post transfer (back ache, cramping, tender breasts) I tested positive 5dp5dt (mmc at 8w+5). My second transfer no symptoms BFP. My third transfer no symptoms and BFP 5dp5dt. All were FETs.
I’d worried so much last week that I was the ā€˜type’ of woman who would get symptoms if it worked because of my previous experiences, this is just to show each transfer is different.

When is your official test day OP?
I am 5+1 so still v v early after 2nd FET. I had absolutely no symptoms of feeling of implantation so I was convinced I was out. I too was thinking about which month I would have another attempt.

for what it's worth, my previous pregnancy from October 2022 ended in a MMC and I definitely felt implantation then.

so every pregnancy is different

best of luck with your test day x

@Ttcpph my clinic make us wait until 14dp5dt for OTD, which is Monday for me I’m 11dp5dt today (still positive), I decided check my HCG bloods a couple of days ago to work out how viable it looks, they came back at good levels. I’m going back tomorrow for follow up bloods to check they are rising. So I’m kind of ignoring the test on Monday as the bloods will mean more!

How are you feeling? Still no symptoms?

IreneG · 03/10/2024 10:10

Hello all brave girls going trough ivf roller coaster. Here I am, 6dp5dt and no "symptoms". My FET was on September 27. From the second to the fourth day, I had mild premenstrual cramps and numbness in my lower back on the left side. Since yesterday, this sensation has disappeared. My breasts are still sensitive but I know it is due to the "cocktail" of estrogen and progesterone that I take. My huge experience show me that searching for symptoms that early is not indicative. Nevertheless, I cannot wait calmly. Positive stories from you have a calming effect on me, thank you to share

BeLemonQuoter · 03/10/2024 20:08

Good luck @IreneG! I hope you will have a successful pregnancy!

I didn't have a lot of symptom either, and nothing more than you have before the positive test result. I am 25w now with a healthy girl. It was a bumpy ride so far and the first 12 weeks was terrible because of all the anxiety the pregnancy can cause.

So, all my symptom was probably caused by the progresterone and very mild ohss, constipation, awful bloating, sore breasts on and off, some mild travel sickness kind of nausea(hardly noticable, but made me even more picky eater than before, or it was a great excuse), thirst and difficulty peeing(not UTI, I think my ovaries were pushing on the UT, this has been replaced by the baby by now :) ).

Good luck and congratulations!

EDIT sorry I misread your comment and the date. But you still deserve congratulations for doing the ivf. All the waiting is tough!

My first round: so many symptoms, convinced I was pregnant, but it hadn’t worked.

Second time around: zero symptoms, totally convinced it hasn’t worked. Started planning a once-in-a-lifetime holiday to get over it (as I knew we wouldn’t try again). Only it had worked — and he’s now 2 and a half.

Good luck OP x

@IreneG first transfer - symptoms from first day of transfer, positive and then miscarried due to chromosomally abnormal embryo.

Second transfer - no symptoms, negative

Third Transfer - little to no symptoms before OTD, positive, currently 11+1 and scan last week showed everything looking perfect. From week 6 I’ve had mild to moderate HG - ongoing still. Careful what you wish for with symptoms šŸ˜…

So symptoms (or lack of) in the early days mean nothing, even in the same person for different transfers!

IreneG · 04/10/2024 13:37

Mild cramps reappeared, some light nausea several times todayšŸ¤”
Still in limbo, this means nothing, I know. But I prefer this over feeling nothing. 7dp5dt, don't want to make a home test, my beta is for Monday

It is my ... I don't know, stopped counting my transfers, more than 10 anyway, one extra uterine, one blind ovum, one biochemical.... other no implantation at all.
But I still believe, and it is very motivating, thank you girls for your responses.
@BeLemonQuoter I hope your congratulations are predictive 😘

Turns out I had stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis hence the infertility and lack of IVF success!

@Decaffe i know this was years ago but just wondering how it turned out for you? I also have Endo and I’m on my second FET. Would love to know what happened next for you x
