Very early days, 5 weeks pregnant and experiencing a lot of twinges, cramps and an aching feeling low down in my vagina 🤒Absolutely terrified of a miscarriage so very paranoid which isn't helping but my first pregnancy went so smoothly, I can't remember feeling any of the above. If I'm lying down and coughing/sneezing I get a sharp pain in my stomach to.

reassurance or advice would be great thanks.

Sorry for the anxiety you're experiencing. As far as I know, pain similar to menstrual cramps is normal. Don't know about the sharp pain. Did you confirm the pregnancy in intrauterine? Best whises to you.

Sounds normal, the sharp pain when sneezing is round ligament pain.

Early pregnancy always felt like period pains to me as PP said. I always took it as a positive because it meant my body was doing its job.

Hi, I am also 5 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing cramps that have felt worse than period pains, after researching it seems it's just my uterus growing lol so I am now reassured. If your pains get too strong I would contact the dr/midwife just to put your mind at rest :)

Yes. No one tells you about it. For the first few weeks I just felt like I was on the verge of having my period with extra sore boobs. Then the nausea hits...

I'll be honest. I had this in early pregnancy once and it did progress to a miscarriage unfortunately. Only time will tell.
