Early pregnancy and holiday?

We have a holiday booked very imminently - the day we fly, I'll be 6 weeks. I've literally only just found out.

For the first time ever we're going all inclusive and I have no idea what to expect. Clearly the cocktails are out and I've read the NHS advice about food but any advice / thoughts about the buffet food / the drinks etc please?

I'm a bit nervous so thanks in advance - miscarriage earlier this year during my first pregnancy. Going to Cyprus.

Definitely go, just take extra care with food. Also, be aware your morning sickness could start and then you won't feel like eating anyway! Mine started at 5 weeks...whilst on holiday! It was horrendous, especially travelling home.

Thanks @Harriet0101. I'm planning to pack bags of mints - these helped the nausea last time.

I went on holiday at 8 weeks was nauseous but not too bad

to be honest I just lay about and relaxed and that was nice

just make sure your food is well cooked and you stay hydrated

Enjoy the buffet food and don't drink alcohol. Not sure what other advise you're looking for regarding the food and drink...

Avoid ice in drinks. Eat as much as you want of whatever you want like any good holiday and enjoy it.
