HCG levels rising slower than expected, 58% increase

Had cramping and light bleeding a week ago which stopped within 2-3 days. I'm now 4+6. Had my HCG levels measured twice in past 48 hours. The levels themselves aren't significantly low, but is only an increase of 58%. I'm not looking for just positive stories, I'm looking for the reality of what I can expect please?

If it is an ectopic, then at your stage you can probably have medical treatment. It used to be methotrexate, but I'm a bit out of date. Mine was diagnosed after it ruptured, so I had to have surgery. I managed to conceive again afterwards, despite being 39. I found the ectopic pregnancy trust website incredibly helpful.

The doubling rate ought to be within 48-72 hours, so they can take 3 days to double early on and still be ok. The babymed hcg calculator was the best one I found as it graphs it and has some really good explanations. I'm about 7+2, but more like 5+5 by ovulation date. Once hcg gets above 1200-6000 the doubling rate drops to every 72-96 hours. My last result was more like a 48hr 62% rise so has slowed down to that now it's gone over 4000. That was a 71hrs doubling rate. It may be because of the levels you are at. With my first at 22dpo I was up at 19000. I know it's quite stressful, but I'm the same where I'd rather know what is happening.
