Notts QMC Sanctuary or Labour Suit?

Hello all!

Just a quick one really -
Has anyone experienced a Sanctuary birth at QMC at all?
I'm still between choices about Sanctuary or Labour Suit and although I'm starting to think about water birth, I'm still torn between the two.
If you have been through Sanctuary care, what was it like? Any regrets or decisions that you wish you had thought about?
My midwife hasn't asked me anything about this yet but I want to start thinking about it now so that when she does, I'm more prepared as she is very no-nonesense!
I'm 25 weeks along so plenty of time to think about this (hopefully!)

Thanks all!

I think the sanctuary was being used for covid patients, just double check with your midwife if that’s still the case. I was in the labour suite, no pool in my room but it was lovely, dimmed lights, en-suite, aromatherapy, two lovely midwives and a doctor who looked after us!

Thank you for the input!
I was told about the sanctuary room before covid was a thing as I was pregnant then although it didn't result in a child. I was going to use the sanctuary rooms then and I'm curious about it this time.
The information on the QMC and NUH websites are the same as back then with no mention of them being used for covid patients but I will ask her next time I see her since I know they can take awhile to update anything (if they are even updated lol).
