37 weeks midwife couldn't find babies head!

Hi everyone, feeling a bit stressed not sure if anyone can help me. I went in at 37w4d with my 4th episode of reduced movements last night. Baby was very sleepy but luckily woke up and they were happy. They decided while I was there to do a sweep but although from examining my abdomen the midwife thought baby was 3/5-4/5 engaged, she couldn't feel the babies head when she examined me internally and cervix was tightly shut so couldn't do the sweep. I now have to go back for a scan today to confirm where babies head is despite the fact it's been head down since 30 weeks. Anyone have any idea where my babies head might be when she could feel from outside but not inside?

The main reason I'm concerned is that my first baby was 3/5 engaged but I had polyhydramnios so turned out she was floating around and there was a pocket of water there. My body didn't respond to induction as a result and ended in emcs. I'm hoping for a vbac this time but worried these seem very similar conditions.
