If your nearly 12 weeks have you started....

telling people your pregnant?

For me waiting for scan but actually nervous about telling my mum and dad. I actually told another friend but she guessed it.

I think it's first time I actually kept it this long from my mum because when I found out last time we told her straight away. I still find it hard talking to her and she doesn't know.

I'm 10weeks 4days and I've only told my management team at work so they can look after me properly. Other than that it's only me & my boyfriend that know.

We have our 12week scan on 22nd August so we're going to tell our family's that day :)

I didn't tell anyone the first time and had a 12 week loss. This time I'm ten weeks and think I've told bloody everyone.

We had a private scan at 11 weeks and told parents and some of DPs siblings.
I wanted the scan first as I wanted to be sure things were okay.

I was also really nervous about telling my parents as it's their first grandchild and they're not the most emotionally open of people - but they were thrilled and it felt like such a relief! I hadn't realised how heavy carrying a secret around had been!

Even being able to admit to people other than my DP that I felt rubbish was a blessing!

This I am waiting for me really struggling waiting patiently. My midwife is seeing if they can bring scan forward.

I can't wait to tell people but thinking maybe I won't need too.

Told both set of parents as soon as we found out, they would've guessed quite quickly. Told my manager at work, but waiting until 14 weeks (next week) so I'm in my second trimester to tell everyone else.

am 21 weeks now. Have shown much more quickly this time so told more people than last time by 13 weeks - most of the Friends who saw me regularly already knew it tbh

but I have also been a bit delayed in telling certain others - eg friends who have suffered losses or struggled to conceive as I didn’t want to feel like I was gloating

That wasn’t such a prevalent issue last time
