I felt exactly the same at 13 weeks.

I believe it coincides with when the placenta takes over feeding the baby, so your own digestive system is less impacted.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Normal op don’t worry. This is around the time lots of people symptoms ease ❤️

Goodnewsday · 02/08/2022 21:35

Very normal, the second trimester for me I felt totally fine and got my energy back then just spent the whole time dreading the third trimester and being huge because people kept saying ‘just wait’ 🤦🏼‍♀️ It really wasn’t bad at all in the end up!

Oh that feeling came and went with me a lot at the beginning of the second trimester. It helps when you start feeling kicks, but that can take a while.

Yeah I've Googled that and said it's because of the placenta, Thankyou and congrats on yours too x

I had the same with my first. Those couple of weeks after your first scan are weird - it’s good they do the scan then because otherwise you could easily think you weren’t pregnant.
I’m currently 10 weeks with my second and still feeling like shit. Can’t wait to be where you’re at. Enjoy it!

I'm booking a 16 week one just for reassurance don't think I can wait until the 20 week one, also gotta have more scans because of how slim I am so hopefully that gives me the reassurance I need! I think I worry too much but Google keeps popping up with these missed miscarriages and worry's me! Congrats on your baby and congrats on your new pregnancy hope you feel soon!! Wishing you a healthy baby x

Thank you @ttc2603 Do whatever you need to do to put you at ease. You want to be able to enjoy this time, it’s probably the best you will physically feel during pregnancy so it’s not nice for it to be overshadowed by worries. I was slim with my first (not anymore… those were the days 😄) I was flat as a pancake until 18 weeks! So it is all normal. But I do remember how worrying and a bit confusing it is being in those limbo weeks, especially when you get to around 15/16 weeks waiting for your bump to pop up.

@ttc2603 How did it go for you in the end OP? In a similar situation. Symptoms have pretty much almost gone at 13w and 3 days and it's worrying me x

Everything was fine got a healthy happy 6 month old now :) try not to worry as it's just your symptoms getting better, make the most out of it while you can lol. Mine come back about 2 weeks later and then eventually stopped completely in the third trimester. Don't worry I'm sure everything is fine! Congrats and good luck!!xx
