Hello all - would love to hear what people think re nub theory from my 12 week scan photo- will find out at 20 weeks and let you know if it's right! Thanks in advance! So excited to find out!

The 3 ultrasounds below uploaded by poster's have the nubs circled. The black and the red one shows the nub slightly raised up from the spine. The blue one shows a "stacked" nub (you can see a little line on the end of the nub). These all indicate boys. A female nub would be pointing down or sometimes has a fork shape.

@AWobABobBob very interesting! Thank you. I’d read about the angle thing but then couldn’t ascertain which was the nub!

It’s amazing how you guys can all tell! I still can’t tell even after reading up so much! Any guesses on mine please?

Were you over 12 weeks 5 days when this scan was done? If not the nub may not have risen yet. My scan at 12 was 3 days looked like a girl but the later scan at 13 weeks 5 days showed a boy.

I posted these photos above, but just in case anyone is looking for confirmed photos - my NIPT results yesterday confirmed it’s a girl! Scan photos at 12 weeks 1 day. I have my NHS 12 week scan on Monday so hopefully I’ll have some more nub photos to help others compare
