Working out number of weeks?

Can anyone help please? I got my bfp last week but struggling to work out number of weeks/days as the due date calculators are saying different things?!

My last period started on the 5th July and my cycle is 24 days. Some things are saying I'm due 7th April but others 11th? So is this 3 or 4 weeks?

I think the issue is that your cycle is shorter than the so called average and the online calculators are having an issue. I would count from the 5th and then your first scan at 12 weeks will confirm due date just explain to the sonograph tec that you have short cycles.

And I would make it the 11th April - that’s 40 weeks from the 5th July.

The book I'm currently reading says 'the first day of your last period minus 3 months, plus 7 days and 12 months' this is the rule dr's use.
Or if you know when you conceived add 266 days.

At the moment just go by number of weeks+days from your period. Once you have your dating scan (the clue is in the name!) they'll give you a more accurate due date.
