When did you partner stop travelling for work?

Just as the tile says.

I’m currently 32 weeks, DH is going to Scotland for work this week. I’m not worried about this, but his manager would like to know when he should stop scheduling trips by.

When did you partners start to stay closer to home?

I was 35 weeks when my OH went away for a weekend. He stayed in the same country but it felt weird to know that I was alone! Since then he hasn't been away.

Before that I enjoyed the peace and quiet at home during his work trips 😂

Depends on how worried you are about him missing the birth, and whether you need him there to drive you to hospital or watch older kids.

I'd assume that there is little risk of anything happening until 37 weeks.

Good question. I’m 36+5 and DH has just left for work 3 hours away. He will be doing the same next Monday. I’m not happy but he doesn’t seem to understand something could happen before my section date (next thurs). If you are a low risk pregnancy I would say 37 weeks is a good time for him to stop travelling.

Mine wasn’t away most of my pregnancy, I had a section booked in the 39th week and he was away on 37th week for a few nights on an island that would have meant waiting until the morning to get off if anything had happened at night. Was risky now looking back! I would say 36 or 37 as in my view it’s not great for you if you were to go before this anyway and likely they’d slow things to give you steroids so he’d probably get there in time
