I found out today I'm pregnant and it's come as a huge shock - I took a cheap Asda test this morning and the positive line appeared instantly. I went and bought a clear blue digital test and it's showing 3+.
I have absolutely no idea how far along I am as I'm on contraception and usually run my packs together to avoid the withdrawal bleed. This is my first ever pregnancy and I'm a bit unsure about what to do next - I guess I ring my GP and they'll ask about my last period? As I don't know this will they offer me a scan soon? Is it worth just getting a private scan myself?
The last time I had sex was around 3 weeks ago now so guessing I'm at least 5 weeks? I'm just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and how they figured out how far along they were.
