12 weeks scan, what’s on my baby’s head?!

Hello. I am just over 12 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby 🥰🌈 we are so happy. I went for my scan 2 days ago, and I’m worried that something looks wrong? Or am I just being paranoid. The sonographer didn’t seem worried and said everything looks fine but I’m a worrier. There’s a weird thing on its forehead. Or is that just a shadow? Thank you xxx

Looks like the hand just next to the face? If they said it all looked fine and had checked all the measurements correctly I wouldn't worry if I was you. Could always book a private scan if you are worried to double check.

Yea just looks like babies holding their right hand up near their face, my son was the same in utero.

I agree with hand near his face. Scans always look weird. Remember its a 3d baby on a 2d scan picture.

My 12 week scan photo looked like he had a cigarette hanging out if his mouth! I think they just get odd shadows or movements on the photos sometimes, they would have told you if anything looked dodgy so try not to worry, and congratulations 🙂

Omg now I’m crying 😩😩 happy crying though. It does look like their hand now I look at it more and more. I actually can’t cope with the cuteness. Thank you everyone ❤️ Xxxx
