Just seeking some positive stories and some reassurance really. I am a recurrent miscarriage sufferer (all have been at 5 weeks or under) so I had never actually seen anything on an ultrasound. However I am now pregnant in my 4th pregnancy (last 3 all ended in miscarriage) and although I don’t actually know how far gone I am (I didn’t have a period as had a mc and got pregnant before having a period) I have had 2 scans. The first scan was 2 weeks ago for which we saw just the gestational sac and yolk sac (no fetal pole) and the sonographer said I was probably around 5 weeks. They told me to come back in 2 weeks which I went back this morning and the scan had shown fetal pole measuring 6mm. We were unable to see heartbeat so now I am worrying. The sonographer has said maybe it’s still too early and I have an axial uterus which can make scans a bit more tricky. I am trying to stay hopeful as they told me that heartbeat isn’t detected until at least 7mm but with my history I’m just going out of my mind with worry. I’ve got to go back in 10 days to see if there is a heartbeat. Has anyone had a similar experience?
